I’m Carla Mariko Swanson, born in Japan & raised in Hawaii. My creativity is inspired by my deep connection to nature. After graduating from Art Center College of Design, I worked for twelve years in Hollywood as an art director, editor, and motion designer.

Inspired to explore and grow through new experiences, I traveled extensively and discovered Bali, where I spent the next decade developing and managing a yoga and wellness boutique hotel.

I’ve rediscovered my passion for editing and motion design—and enjoying it more than ever. Alongside this, I remain deeply engaged in project management and currently working on new hotel concepts that blend design, hospitality, and storytelling.
